How it works...
After signing up and logging in, set searches by typing in the keywords for your type of products, or provide us with a list of them, and our software will query the CRISP database.
Once the searches are set, CRISPAlerts will send you the complete details for all existing active projects containing your keywords. Each week you will receive an email containing newly added or new sub-projects matching your keywords. The data will be in a text delimited document or an Excel(tm) spreadsheet based upon the preferences you set.
The weekly emailed results will include the following fields:
| -Grant Number |
-Investigator’s Name, Title, Email Address |
| -Project Title, Abstract |
-Institution |
| -Project Start, End Dates |
-Department & Address (new) |
Keyword searches can be set to search the grant description, the principal investigator, or the awarded institution. A 'keyword' can be a single word or a phrase. Choosing the root word will ensure that variations are identified (e.g. 'diab' would find diabetes or diabetic). You can change the keywords at any time by inactivating one and adding a new one. However, only active keywords will be run each week to get the newest updates.
Following is an example of what CRISPAlerts provided for ‘insulin’ over a 4 week period in 2005:
| 1st Query: |
1,614 records of active grants |
| Mar 20 |
48 - 9 new, 30 sub-grants, 9 revised |
| Mar 27 |
38 - 4 new, 23 sub-grants, 11 revised |
| Apr 3 |
25 - 7 new, 8 sub-grants, 10 revised |
| Apr 10 |
39 - 5 new, 12 sub-grants, 22 revised |
You can literally start building an emailing or sales prospecting list within 10 minutes of signing up!
